KICKBOXING/X (KB/X)
Developed by US Military Veteran, Mitch Harris. The "X" stands for two things: the unknown variables of a real-world altercation, and training with eXtreme intensity.
The Core Premise
A comprehensive, high-intensity self-defense system engineered to be highly effective on the street and dominant in competition.
Primary Art: Muay Thai. Supplemental Arts: Grappling, Escrima, Personal Defense Systems/PDS (developed by US Marine, Mike Moses), and USA Combatives (developed by US Navy SEAL, Pat Tray).
The Ultimate Objective:
On the Street: Keep the fight standing. Avoid the high-risk hazards of going to the ground.
In Competition: Overwhelm opponents with relentless pressure, pinpoint accuracy, and superior technical skill.
Techniques: Focused entirely on high-percentage, gross motor movements. Training includes upper/lower body strikes, advanced defenses, tactical grappling, and blunt/edged weapons defense.
Training Method: We don't do slow-motion drills. Every class is executed at a rapid, high-intensity P.A.C.S.E (Practical Application of Competitive & Street-Effective) techniques.
